By the time I left Jimena de la Frontera<\/a> every single item of clothing I owned had been worn at least once, not everything had dried from my search for the Moorish Queen’s Bath, I was starting to get sick<\/a>, and it was still raining.<\/p>\n

A train ride followed by a bus ride and I found myself mere minutes from the border with Gibraltar in a town called La L\u00ednea de la Concepci\u00f3n.\u00a0Although I was staying in La L\u00ednea, I didn’t see much of it other than the area right around the border. This part of town felt like a poorly aging beach town. Or maybe it was just off season.<\/p>\n
